Description

Debian has issued an update for luxman. This fixes a vulnerability, which potentially can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when handling arguments passed to the "-f" command line option and can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by passing an overly long string.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code with root privileges.

Solution
Apply updated packages.
