CVE-2005-0793
CVE-2005-0794

Description:
Mikhail has reported a vulnerability and a security issue in ZPanel, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and bypass certain security restrictions.

1) Input passed to the "uname" parameter in "index.php" isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

2) The problem is that installation scripts are not properly removed after installation. This can be exploited to reinstall an affected installation.

The vulnerability and the security issue have been reported in version 2.0. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Apply patch.
