Description: Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Cain & Abel. One has an unknown impact and the other can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
1) A boundary error in the IKE-PSK sniffer filter can be exploited to cause a heap based buffer overflow by sending a specially crafted IKE packet.
Successful exploitation can lead to execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.65. Other versions may also be affected.
2) An unspecified boundary error in the HTTP sniffer filter can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow.
