Description:
Hongzhen Zhou has discovered a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the processing of EMF (Microsoft Enhanced Metafile) files in the "GetEnhMetaFilePaletteEntries()" API in "GDI32.DLL". This can be exploited to crash an affected application using the vulnerable API.
