Description:
ADZ Security Team has reported some vulnerabilities in phpmyfamily, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed to the "person" parameter in "people.php" and "pwdUser" parameter in "passthru.php" isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

NOTE: Some other scripts including "people.php", "track.php", "edit.php", "document.php", "census.php", and "passthru.php" may also be affected.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.4.0. Prior versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 1.4.1.
