Description:
Aviv Raff has reported a vulnerability in Maxthon, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose some potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the API for plug-ins where search bar data is not properly protected. This can be exploited via a malicious web site to retrieve the content of the search bar via the "external.m2_search_text" JavaScript property.

The vulnerability has been reported in 1.2.0. Prior versions may also be affected.

Update to version 1.2.1.
