Description: Luigi Auriemma has reported a vulnerability in Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when handling messages supplied by clients. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by supplying an overly long message via e.g. the "say" and "tell" commands.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code on the game server.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions 1.011 and prior.
