Description:
Luigi Auriemma has reported a vulnerability in the Quake3 Engine, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the engine when handling commands longer than 1022 characters. This can be exploited to disconnect all clients by sending a big message.

The vulnerability has been reported in the following software:
* Call of Duty 1.5b and prior.
* Call of Duty: United Offensive 1.51b and prior.
* Call of Duty 2 version 1.0.
* Quake III Arena 1.32 and prior.
* Return to Castle Wolfenstein 1.41 and prior.
* Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix 1.03 and prior.
* Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast 1.04 and prior.
* Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy 1.0.1.0 and prior.
* Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory 1.02 / 2.56 and prior.
