Description:
Oliver Karow has reported two vulnerabilities in SonicWALL SOHO series, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and script insertion attacks.

1) Input passed in the URL path is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.

Example:
http://[host]/[code]

2) Input passed to the username in the login page is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in an administrator's browser session in context of an affected site, when the malicious user data is viewed in the logfile.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in SonicWall SOHO/10 firmware 5.1.7.0. Other versions may also be affected.
