Description:
Zinho has discovered a vulnerability in Comersus Cart, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed to the username when registering as a new user is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site, when the malicious user profile is viewed (e.g. when searching for customers).
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 6.03. Other versions may also be affected.
