CVE-2005-1004
CVE-2005-1005

Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in PayProCart, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks, disclose system and sensitive information, and bypass certain security restrictions.

1) Input passed to the "modID" parameter in "index.php" is not properly verified, before it is used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

2) Input passed to the "sgnuptype" parameter in "usrdetails.php" is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.

3) An input validation error in the authentication process can be exploited to bypass authentication and access the admin control panel via some specially crafted input.

Example:
http://[victim]/adminshop/index.php?proMod=index&amp%3bftoedit=..%2fshopincs%2fmaintopENG

4) The problem is that the script "phpinfos.php" improperly reveals system configuration information via the "phpinfo()" function to unauthenticated users.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 3.0. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
1-3) Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and verified.

4) Restrict access to the file "phpinfos.php".
