Description: A vulnerability has been reported in CA eTrust Intrusion Detection, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error when passing arguments to the "CPImportKey()" API and can be exploited via a specially crafted packet sent to the eID Engine (default port 9191/tcp).
Successful exploitation consumes all available memory resources.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions 3.0 and 3.0.5 (SP1).
