Description:
Three vulnerabilities have been reported in MaxDB, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) A boundary error in the web administration service can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by sending a specially crafted, overly long HTTP "GET" request containing a percent sign.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

2) A boundary error in the "getLockTokenHeader()" function in "WDVHandler_CommonUtils.c" in the WebDAV functionality of the web administration service can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by sending a specially crafted HTTP request with the unlock method.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

3) A boundary error in the "WDVH_Bool getIfHeader()" function of the web administration service WebDAV functionality can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by sending a specially crafted HTTP request with the unlock method along with an overly long string in the "if" parameter.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 7.5.00.23. Other versions may also be affected.
