Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Serendipity, where some have unknown impacts and others, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.

1) Some unspecified input handled with "exit.php" and pingbacks isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This may be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input handled with the BBCode plugin isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.

3) An unspecified input validation error in the processing of path names for uploaded media can be exploited to bypass the validation process.

4) An input validation in the media manager can be exploited to upload ".php" and ".shtml" files.
