Description:
Lostmon has reported some vulnerabilities in ViArt Shop Enterprise, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and script insertion attacks.

1) Input passed to the "rp" parameter in "basket.php", the "page" parameter in "page.php", the "item_id" and "category_id" parameters in "reviews.php" and "products.php", the "category_id" parameter in "product_details.php", the "search_string" parameter in "products.php", and the "rp" and "page" parameters in "news_view.php" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.

2) Input passed to the nickname, email, topic and message fields in "forum_new_thread.php" and the nickname and message fields in "forum_threads.php" when replying to a post is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious user data is viewed in the forum or in the admin panel.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 2.1.6. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 2.1.8 or later.
