CVE-2005-1487

Description:
Diabolic Crab has reported some vulnerabilities in FishCart, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "nlst" parameter in "display.php", and the "trackingnum", "reqagree" and "m" parameters in "upstracking.php" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.

2) Input passed to the "psku" and "olst" parameter in "display.php" and the "cartid" parameter in "upstnt.php" isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 3.1. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
The vulnerabilities in #2 are reportedly fixed in 3.2 RC2.

Provided and/or discovered by:
Diabolic Crab and Laurent Gaffie

Changelog:
2005-05-13: Added CVE references.
2007-01-24: Added vulnerable parameter "olst" in #2, provided by Laurent Gaffie. Corrected parameter name "reqagree" in #1. Updated "Solution" section.
