Description:
Christer Oberg has reported a vulnerability in FreeBSD, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain knowledge of potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the "i386_get_ldt()" system call and can be exploited to copy arbitrary portions of data from kernel space into userland by passing negative or extremely large arguments to the system call.
