Description:
eric basher has reported a security issue in Ultimate Forum, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.

The problem is caused due to user credentials being stored in the the "db" database directory inside the web root. This can be exploited to disclose encrypted usernames and passwords.

The security issue has been reported in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Move the "db" database directory out of the web root.
