Description: Luigi Auriemma has reported a vulnerability in C'Nedra, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the network plugin in the function "READ_TCP_STRING()" in "game_message_functions.cpp". This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by sending an overly long text string (more than 100 bytes) to a vulnerable application based on the C'Nedra framework.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions 0.4.0 and prior.
