Description:
Piotr Bania has reported a vulnerability in SoftICE, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the DbgMsg.sys driver and can be exploited via a specially crafted "int 2dh" call with an invalid debug message pointer.

Successful exploitation crashes the system and does not require that SoftICE is active.
