Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in HP-UX, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error, which may be exploited to gain access on a HP-UX trusted system without being authorised.

Solution:
Apply patches.

HP-UX B.11.00:
Install PHCO_29249 and PHNE_17030 or later.

HP-UX B.11.11:
Install PHCO_33215 or later.

HP-UX B.11.22:
Disable remshd and do not use the telnet -t option.

HP-UX B.11.23:
Install PHCO_32926 or later.
