Description: James Bercegay has reported a vulnerability in PeerCast, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error in the processing of HTTP requests. This may be exploited to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted request for a malformed URL to port 7144.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.1211 and prior.
Solution: Update to version 0.1212.
