Description:
Esteban Martínez Fayó has reported a vulnerability in IBM WebSphere Application Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the authentication process of the administrative console and can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, but requires that the "global security option" is enabled.

Update to version 5.0.2.11.
