Description:
Two weaknesses have been reported in gaim, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

1) An error in the file transfer handling for Yahoo! when processing filenames containing non-ASCII characters can be exploited to crash a vulnerable client.

2) A signedness error in the processing of malformed MSN message can be exploited to crash a vulnerable client.

The weaknesses have been reported in version 1.3.0. Prior versions may also be affected.
