Description: blahplok has reported a vulnerability in WebHints, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
Input passed to the query string in "hints.pl" isn't properly sanitised before being used in a "open()" call. This can be to inject arbitrary shell commands via the "|" character.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.0.3. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
