Description:
Sverre H. Huseby has discovered a vulnerability in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat, which can be exploited by malicious people to gain knowledge of potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the Adobe Reader control and makes it possible to read the contents of certain text files (e.g. not containing non-printable characters) on a user's system via XML scripts embedded in JavaScript.

The vulnerability affects versions 7.0.0 and 7.0.1.

Solution:
Update to version 7.0.5 for Windows or Mac OS.
