Description:
Daniel Schroeter has reported a vulnerability in Finjan SurfinGate, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due an error where URL encoded filenames are not properly blocked. This can be exploited to bypass the blocking of certain file types via a specially crafted request.

NOTE: Successful exploitation requires that the malicious file is not blocked based on the "Content-Type" HTTP header.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 7.0SP2 and SP3. Other versions may also be affected.
