Description:
Reed Arvin has reported two vulnerabilities in Inframail Advantage Server Edition, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

1) An error in the processing of the SMTP "MAIL FROM" command with an argument of approximately 40960 bytes can cause the ifmail.exe process to crash and restart.

2) An error in the processing of the FTP "NLST" command can cause multiple processes belonging to the service to crash and restart by issuing the command twice with an argument of approximately 102400 bytes.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 6.37. The vendor has reportedly confirmed the first vulnerability in version 7.11. Other versions may also be affected.
