Description:
Kozan has discovered a security issue in Access Remote PC, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain knowledge of sensitive information.

The credentials used by the server for connecting to the RPC Subscription Service are saved in plain text under the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Access Remote PC\Server\Proxy" registry key, which is readable by all users.

The security issues have been confirmed in version 4.5.1. Other versions may also be affected.

Note: Version 4.7.3 encrypts this password in the registry. However, it is still possible for any users who can logon to the system to read and decrypt the password.
