Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Backup Manager, which potentially can be exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain actions on a vulnerable system with escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to temporary files being created insecurely when burning a CDR.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.5.8a. Prior versions may also be affected.

Update to version 0.5.8b.
