Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in AIX, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the ftpd daemon and can be exploited to consume a large amount of memory resources or exhausts available ephemeral ports.

The vulnerability affects AIX 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3.
