Description:
sky has discovered a vulnerability in CaLogic, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed to the "CLPATH" parameter in various scripts such as "clmcpreload.php" and "mcconfig.php" is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from external and local resources.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.2.2. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 1.2.2 issued 2005-07-19 or later.
