Description:
Nick Griffin has discovered a vulnerability in e107, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.

Input passed in certain nested BBcode isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary script code which will get executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious post is viewed.

NOTE: Exploitation may be browser dependent.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 0.6171 using Microsoft Internet Explorer. Other versions may also be affected.
