Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Atomic Photo Album, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks and compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "apa_module_basedir" parameter in apa_phpinclude.inc.php is not properly verified, before it is used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from external and local resources.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

2) Input passed to the "apa_album_ID" parameter in album.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

3) Input passed to the "apa_album_ID" parameter in album.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0.5. Other versions may also be affected.
