Gentoo has issued an update for kopete. This fixes some vulnerabilities, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or compromise a vulnerable system.

Update "kde-base/kdenetwork" to 3.4.1-r1 or 3.3.2-r2, or later.

KDE Split Ebuild Kopete users:
Update to "kde-base/kopete-3.4.1-r1" or later.
