Description:
thegreatone2176 has discovered some vulnerabilities in Website Baker, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "dir" parameter in admin/media/browse.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in an administrator's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 2.5.2. Other versions may also be affected.

2) An input validation error in admin/media/index.php where the file extension of uploaded media files is not properly verified can be exploited to upload e.g. a malicious PHP script inside the web root.

Successful exploitation requires access to the "Media" section (normally administrators).

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 2.5.2 and 2.6.4 (on an Apache server with the "mod_mime" module installed). Other versions may also be affected.

It has also been reported that it is possible to disclose the full path to certain scripts by accessing them directly.
