Description: A security issue has been reported in Novell eDirectory, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The problem is caused due to an error in the NMAS (Novell Modular Authentication Service) component in the Forgotten Password portal. This makes it possible to change a user's password without answering the challenge question.
Solution: Update to NMAS version 2.3.8.
