Description: Walter Sobchak has reported a vulnerability in Thomson Web Skill Vantage Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "svmPassword" parameter in login.asp is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation e.g. allows bypassing the user authentication.
Solution: The vendor has issued a patch.
