Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Ragnarok Online Control Panel, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions or to conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) An error exists in the authentication process when checking page access. This can be exploited to bypass the authentication process via a specially crafted URL with an appended non-restricted page.
Example:
http://[host]/[script]/login.php
Successful exploitation requires that files are served from an Apache HTTP server.
2) Input passed to the "retrieve_email" parameter in lost_pass.php and to the "login_user" parameter in login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 4.3.4a. Other versions may also be affected.
