Description: A vulnerability has been reported in tDiary, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerability is caused due to the application allowing users to perform certain actions via HTTP GET requests without performing any validity checks to verify the user's request. This can be exploited to edit or delete a user's tDiary entries or configurations.
Successful exploitation requires that the user is tricked into visiting a malicious web site while the user's tDiary session is still valid.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.0.1 (stable) and prior, and in version 2.1.1 (development).
Solution: Update to version 2.0.2 (stable).
The vulnerability has also been fixed in version 2.1.2 (development).
Provided and/or discovered by: The vendor credits Yutaka OIWA and Hiromitsu TAKAGI.
