Description: rgod has discovered a vulnerability in Chipmunk Forum, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "fontcolor" parameter in index.php isn't properly sanitised before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: The vulnerability has been fixed by the vendor in an updated 1.3 version.
Provided and/or discovered by: rgod
Changelog: 2005-10-21: Updated "Solution" section.
