Description: David Sopas Ferreira has discovered a vulnerability in Emefa Guestbook, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed to the "name", "location", and "email" parameters in sign.asp isn't properly sanitised before being stored as a guest book entry. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when a malicious entry is viewed.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.2. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to the latest version 1.2 (issued 2005-08-18).
