Description:
Kozan has discovered a security issue in ZipTorrent, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose certain sensitive information.

The security issue is caused due to ZipTorrent storing the configured proxy password in clear text in pref.txt located in the installation directory.

The security issue has been confirmed in version 1.3.7.3. Other versions may also be affected.
