Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in HP-UX, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the VxFS (Veritas File System), which can be exploited to gain unauthorized access to certain data.
The vulnerability has been reported in the following versions:

* HP-UX B.11.23 (VxFS 3.5)
Solution:
Apply patches.
HP-UX B.11.00 (VxFS 3.3):
Install PHKL_33285 or later.
HP-UX B.11.11 (VxFS 3.3):
Install PHKL_32669 or later.
HP-UX B.11.11 (VxFS 3.5):
Install PHKL_29896 or later.
HP-UX B.11.23 (VxFS 3.5):
Install PHKL_31500 or later.
