Description:
Some security issues have been reported in Reflection for Secure IT Windows Server, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose certain sensitive information, or by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions.
1) Insecure file permissions on the host private key file allows malicious, local users to disclose the host's SSH private key. This can potentially be exploited to impersonate the host by copying the host key to a different server.
The security issue has been reported in F-Secure SSH Server for Windows (all versions) and in Reflection for Secure IT Windows Server 6.0.
2) An error when renaming the Windows built-in "Administrator" and "Guest" accounts can cause the system to continue associating previously configured SSH public keys with these two accounts. This can cause the server to continue accepting logins with the default names after they have been changed.
Successful exploitation requires that SSH is configured to run with public key authentication and the built-in accounts were subsequently renamed.
The security issue has been reported in Reflection for Secure IT Windows Server 6.0.
3) A character case comparison error when evaluating regular expressions to determine whether to deny or allow user access, can be exploited to bypass the validation by using usernames with different character case combinations.

Solution:
The first and third security issue have been fixed in Reflection for Secure IT Windows Server 6.0 Build 24.
