Description: Gentoo has issued an update for net-snmp. This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to the Perl modules from the Net-SNMP package looking for shared libraries in insecure path locations. This can potentially be exploited to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the user invoking the Perl script.
Solution: Update to "net-analyzer/net-snmp-5.2.1.2-r1" or later.
