Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Open WebMail, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input passed to the "sessionid" parameter in "openwebmail-main.pl" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Input passed to the "sessionid" parameter is also not properly sanitised in openwebmail-send.pl, openwebmail-advsearch.pl, openwebmail-folder.pl, openwebmail-prefs.pl, openwebmail-abook.pl, openwebmail-read.pl, openwebmail-cal.pl, and openwebmail-webdisk.pl. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.51. Prior versions may also be affected.

Update to version 2.52.
