Description: A vulnerability has been reported in OS/400, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in handling certain malformed SNMP messages. This can be exploited to cause the SNMP Agent and Trap Manager jobs to end abnormally.
Solution: PTFs are reportedly available for OS/400 V4R5, V5R1 and V5R2, which fix the vulnerability.
