Description:
Avaya has acknowledged a vulnerability in Intuity Audix, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause files to be unpacked to arbitrary locations on a user's system.

A race condition when setting file permissions has also been acknowledged.

Solution:
A patch will reportedly be included in the next major release.

Do not unpack archives from untrusted sources.
