Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in PunBB, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection and script insertion attacks.
1) Certain unspecified input in the administration interface isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that the user is authenticated as an administrator or moderator.
2) Input passed to the BBcode "url" tag isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed with the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.
3) Certain unspecified input passed in a search isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.2.6. Prior versions may also be affected.
